• new prob with my car, woot!

Been a long time since I last posted here...

About a month ago my car started acting up. Exhaust started smelling funny, my gas milage went wayyyy down, and now my car is sputtering/hesitating when I move from a stop.

example: If I leave the car in drive, and put one foot on the brake, and barely tap the gas the car shudders then revs. Same thing happens when I'm driving around town. Ill let my foot off of the brake and tap the gas it boggs down then goes about its business as usual.

Also just got an SES light. Now before you guys tell me to go to autozone to have then scan it....I cant, in CA they arent allowed to do so for some reason.

Anyone had any similar problems? Any suggestions before I have to drop the money on either buying a scanner or taking it in to have it scanned?
I guess I\'d have answer your question with another question.

How many Abidiginals do you see in modeling??????

headers, 3inch magnaflow cat, Loudmouth
99 Midnight Blue Firebird
3.8L A4

I had a similar problem, did you recently change a brand of fuel? Thats what happened to me, I used ****ty citgo and it even made my car stall and its an automatic so its not that I stalled it myself. I used up that tank of gas and put in some BP fuel and it ran fine, engine light went away to.
