      pull the TB from the car

      remove the butterfly

      wire or use a set of vice grips to keep the TB open

      take a hacksaw apart and re assemble it with the blade going thru the TB

      cut the bar on the top side (the front when the TB is closed) as close to the walls of the TB (dont knick the walls)

      remove the saw

      let the TB close

      take a dremel to the rest of the bar that couldnt be removed by the saw

      reinstall the plate

      put the TB back on the car
