Could you you buy a second car and second cable for it, and copy it onto another computer and basically have 2 fully running version?

Their website says you now get 2 vehicles with a purchase, so if I were to buy one for my car I could get one for yours as well. I could install the software on your computer and it probably would work. Hypothetically, of course. [img]tongue.gif[/img]Matt

That's a good question. It looks like you'd only get 1 cable. I think DHP is the same way, only you get 1 box with both vehicle years programmed in it.Matt

i dont get your question..
When you buy ONE copy of hpt you get supprot for 2 cars.. however you get one cable..
If you want TWO cables you need to buy two copys of the software for a total of 4 cars..
you can also add as many cars as you need/wat to one cable.. there really is no reason to have 2..Comment

My thoughts exactly. I even emailed them and asked if they would knock the price down if I bought it just for one car. They said no. Why the hell would I need it for two cars? I only have one car...It seems like they would even make more money selling it at like $300 for one car. It's starting to look a lot less appealing with the $500 price tag on it. well.. it was formerly 500 for one car.. so.. 2 cars is kinda a bonus..
just find someone with an ls1 or some other supported GM car.. and get them to give you a few $$ for it..
its a great deal regardless..
