I was wanting to know how much a P&P job on the intake manifold of my 3.4 Firebird would cost and how much power would it add with an intake system and headers cat and catback?

Would get you maybe 1 or 2 hp. Not worth it unless you're doing heads/cam, turbo, etc.Matt

I have no experience with the 3.4, so I don't have a clue. Best bet is to do a search and see what others say. I know I've seen it discussed recently.Matt

well depends on if u wanna do FI or stay NA. There is really no point in doing the intake if you dont p&p your heads as well
a good NA cam is the GT2 cam

someone *cough*the 3.8L owner*cough* has obviously never loked at the inside of a 3.4L manifold where the injector sits. im not going to take a random guess at to how much power it would add without the heads being ported as well, but i will tell you its gonna be more than 2 HP if done properly-Aaron, AKA ATL2001<br />93 3.4L <br /><a href=\"http://www.ilfba.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.ilfba.com</a>

I didn't even port my manifolds, I just polished them, and I picked up a 7% gain in airflow.
