bla bla, so i hear they're better for running higher compression on pump gas because of the combustion temperatures...they're also lightweight. i hear GM goodwrench makes them for the 3.8. question is, think tom over at supersix would take a set of these and work on them?

Are you talking about the 18 degree alumminum heads? I would think that alumminum would be easier to port/polish. They could also withstand higher rpm's.

I believe this aluminum heads are for 3.8 series I. Which sucks for us.

Do the series I heads have different matchups or something meaning that they won't fit?

You sir, are correct. Trust me guys, don't worry about fabricating or jury-rigging aluminum heads for the 3.8 series II if it's gonna be a street car. If you decide to go all out race trim, fine, blow your money on a set of aluminum heads. I personally don't think its worth it. There are other easier proven ways to save weight, run more boost on pump gas, and run cooler
