Yes they would but there are more issues then just bolting them on I'm not sure of all of them though.

I will sell you some of those with the D shaped exhaust port for 150 and I will include a lower intake manifold.. and for 175 I will throw in the upper intake manifold and throttle body... so for 175 i will sell you the good aluminum heads with upper and lower intake manifolds and a throttle body. Let me know. My e-mail is dakota@usa.com

what car did these come from. I think there is alot of modification to put these on. If I remeber correctly there use to be a member named ross who did it and it ended up being really complicated to do.

what aluminum heads do you have dakota, and what kind of intakes and throttle body? are they from a Camaro 3400? can you send me pictures?

They never had a 3400 in a Camaro. That is a FWD engine only. The aluminum heads will bolt onto the 60* engines but you will have to custom fab the intake.

the alunimum heads off a 3400 and 3800 series fwd car will work, but of course alot of mods would have to be done, firstly change out the pistons, the 3x00 heads will put your compression to i believe 11:1 if im not mistaken. longer pushrods, you can use the intake manifold from the 3x00 engine but you would have to shave the numbers down on the manifold it self for clearance issues. simple fuel line modifacation.
im pretty sure im forgetting something.
Yes Russel did this swap many moons ago, just so happens he got an engine rebuild which is why he was able to use different pistons <3x00 engine pistons if my mind serves me right> the project seems easy enough, and is well worth it for the 3.4s but it isnt a project I myself would undertake

Sorry for the double post, but i remembered a few more things:
you would have to relocate the alternator and the coil packs, and do some porting to the exhaust ports to make you exhaust manifolds bolt on
....i think thats all =)

well i have headers, so the exhaust ports aren't an issue. thanks for the help. BUT CAN I USE MY STOCK LOWER INTAKES< or no. do i shave my stock intakes, or use ones. also, what kind of pistons do i need?

you will need the whole top end from the 3x00 series engine <grand prix, or grand am> heads, pistons, pushrods, lower and upper intakes, throttle body, but also not to mention the above mods done to the alternator and coils.
the 3x00 series heads come with a better valve train, taller rockers and what not, so all in all its very worth the bang for buck, plus the gains are very worth it, if i can find his dyno vid, i think stock <after the 3x0 series head swap> it was 160ish to the wheels, its very true what they say about these engines, to unlock thier power you seriously need to upgrade to aluminum ported heads.
on a side note, the aluminum heads flow much better than most iron ported heads, just some food for thought
I will take on all comers...or come on all takers!!! Whichever you prefer.

so i can't use speed pro pistons, and stock rods, with comp 1.6 roller tip rockers and full valvetrane with the aluminum heads? do i have to get it all from the fwd v6 donor car?

it depends on the piston, how big of a dish do they have? or if you have a cam that is made for a lot of compression you can run on stock GEN I pistons no problem

GEN III heads have roller rockers stock

BTW russell was dynoing 200 at the wheels after the swap and headers

as for the headers being able to work you will have to grind flange. the spacing of the exhanust manifold bolt holes on the GENIII heads is farther apart than on the GEN I heads
