The guy at Autozone said he couldn't pull my codes because he didn't have the equipment to do it. I said "you've got one on the shelf, what's the problem" and he said that the 95's have a OBD1(or whatever) computer and an OBD2 connector.
I researched this a little and the OBD2 standard didn't get enforced until 96, when F-bodies went 3.8. So, apparently, if you have a 94/95 3.4 you can't pull the codes?
I personally think it's a load of crap. How could GM be so stoopid? I've never tried myself to pull the codes, and everyone with an F body I know is a 3.8 and they just go to AZ to find their problem.
If the computer is indeed an OBD1 computer, couldn't you just short A and B (or 1 and 2 or whatever) and get the blinking SES light? Or is that not kosher anymore?
I'm confused. Help!

P.S. The owner of my local AZ should be bound, gagged and pelted with crankshafts. Just thought you should know.
