    I can't figure out if that is part of the crank or that is the pilot. It gouges pretty easily and when you hit it with sand paper it gets brownish. It also feels like bronze rather than steel.

    If that is the pilot, I don't see an overlap area where you can do the old grease and rod trick to pop it out. There is also no overalp you could grab with pullers. Anyone have a clue on this?

    There isn't a bushing in that crank.

      Cool thanks. I am trying to source/build a pilot bushing for my buildup which includes a 3800 and a r150F Aisin trans from a toyota tacoma.

      My measurements say this hole is 13/16" OD, anyone have a more accurate measurement?
