It's based on how many milliseconds the pcm is holding the injector open, compared to how many milliseconds available in a cycle. The logging programs give you milliseconds. You have to figure out the duty cycle percentage.
If you are holding the injector open continously, it's called going static, and it's bad for the injector.
My v6 and v8 always ran around 3.1 ms at idle.
I'm told an injector can be good all the way down to around 1.5 ms or so. But if you try to hold it open less than that, it won't flow right and the idle will be bad.
