• keep blowing my ingition fues

ok well i was working on my this weekend. i did the rear main seal, oil pan gasket, flywheel, clutch, slave cylinder etc.

so when we were done she wouldn't turn over. found out the ingition fues went. so we changed it. it turned over and it was fine. i left it on for about 45 mins. so, i pulled it off the lift and turned it off for about 5 mins. got back in and it wouldn't turn over again. check the fues and it was gone again.

so my question to you is what is causing this? i didn't even check it out last night cause we were all so tired. but when i was working on the car and i took off everything for the rear main seal antifreese went everywhere. so could something be shorting it out? someone give me ideas on what to check.

Check the wires attached to the starter. Maybe they are grounding out on something.

The antifreeze will not cause any problems. I changed my rear main a few months ago and was very supprised when all the antifreeze came pouring out. Luckily, I wasnt directly under it.

I had the same problem with mine and it turned out that I had a wiring harness for a crank position sensor touching my headers and it grounded out the wire and blew the fuse. Check around your engine for any wiring that may be burnt or accidentely grounded out.

Just put a solid wire thru the two fuse connector spots... who needs that fuse anyways? ;)

Antifreez is sweet tasting isnt it?
add a lil sugar and youve got yourself a hell of a drink.

this seems like it'd be likely since I know for a fact that this sensor was removed (I think kristen bought a new one)

ended up being the heat shield on the starter touching one of the wires. We loosened up the nut pushed the wire down and put it back on and it was fine.

I was in your neck of the woods today. Went to my first flyers game and they got destroyed. :(
