I brought car to shop after redoing the heads and all valvetrain and i couldnt solve a misfire problem. Well turned out to be a injector not functioning. then they ran further tests to fin that Cly. 2 has no compression and the othere Cly. have very odd random spratic amounts of compression. They want $1500 to fix i think its the heads what do yall think.

Man ive had the same prob turns out my vavle was stuck in the guide plate and trick the computer to think all the cylinders were missfiring. There charging me 1200 for all the gasket needed and remanufactured heads1999 Firebird 3.8 Chamelon<br /><br />MagnaFlow Catback<br /><br />Devon

Unless it was the mechanic's computer (compression testers are mechanical BTW), the PCM on slacker's car (and everyone else's on this site) does NOT affect the compression test results, period!<a href=\"http://www.fullthrottlev6.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.fullthrottlev6.com</a> THE SOURCE!

i almost bet the valves weren't sealing on the seats. A cheap valve job will do that.
