K guys, Ive pretty much done almost every bolt on mod you can do. I wanna get more power, I was looking into getting an Abbot racing head, but its in the 3k range. Would it be safe to just port and polish my current heads? Also what ball park price range am I looking at for this? Finally would it just be better to get the Abbot? Thanks :D

The package is $2401.XX, not $3000. Thats with the stage 3 heads, ported intake, cam, pushrods, and all the gaskets. There is an extra $400 in core charges on the heads and the intake but when we get your stock, undamaged heads and intake back, we refund it.Black 1998 Pontiac Firebird A-4 swap
271.4rwhp/259.4rwtq NA
13.30@102.44
www.freewebs.com/wickedsix98

to answer ur original question. All the aftermarket heads out there, like Abbott, supersix zzp, ect. are essentially our heads ported and polished and reworked in different ways to achive optimum power.
So, yes you can get your heads ported and polished by a local shop but your going to have to do a lot of research because you have to be able to tell the porter all the specs you wantSLP CAI, RK Sport headers, P&Ped heads and intake, GT2 cam, Upgraded valvetrain, Z28 rear axle with 4.10s Tx Spd tune, Z06 rims, 2.5\" exhaust to flowmaster, 160* thermo, B&M ripper, upgraded ignition, rockford fosgate 12\" with sony xplode amp and HU.
