I wasnt sure if this was the correct forum for this:

    update on the stroker motor.

well i finally had the time and energy to get to it. i seperated the trans and moved it off of the way. i then unbolted the motor mounts so its just chillin on a pallet on the k-member.

i took off the headers and the power steering setup.

i grabbed my maglight and went looking around. heres what i found: the valve(exhaust) that i could see through the open exhaust ports were white. i think this is normal im not sure.

also: my harland sharp roller rockers i was inspecting by taking off the oil fill port on the valve cover. they look like they might even be hitting the valve cover. any have this problem?

im going out monday to get it in the air and to check for metal shavings in the pan as the previous owner suspected bad rod bearings.

ill keep you updarted. also, if you have anything i should check, lets hear it!
    The confusion surrounds me
change is imminent
if I were they
we could be great

If you have any type of metal in your block, you must have it completely cleaned out and rebuilt.. Those shavings will get in every oil passageway and just tear up any rebuild you do if you do not clean it out.

Also, check out my webpage and check out the heads/cam swap in the V6 section. I posted pics of my tear down which include pics of valves.
