Quick one here. If I install the 3800 II PowerPak will I still pass PA state emissions? I need this car to be a street-drivable vehicle, but im lookin for performance.

I don't see why it wouldn't pass.
It really should.

well because it makes more power by flowing more air and fuel witch will cause emmissions to go up. it seems like no one on here has do pass emmissions do any of you? everytime I have asked a question like this people just say they dont know. hummmm.

you guys dont know people that can get you stickers?

i have a buddy that works at a car dealership, and he gets me stickers. I also know people that will get you stickers without even having the car there, but they cost a lot more.

and no, i wont get you some. sorry.

well, assuming that the tuning is the same, and the cat hasn't been messed with, the car should still pass. sure, there's mroe air and fuel going in, but not a ton more, maybe 10-30 hp worth depending on the amount of porting and the cam used.

i passed state of utah emissions with ssm heads and ported intakes and a mild cam. Passed no problem. It really depends on the cam you are running.

i dunno man..according to CA what i did was 100% illegal, cause changing the air/fuel/exhaust delivery mechanisms or heads-cam or intake, is illegal cause it alters the way the engine processes its fuel and spits out emissions. but thats just in CA -- other states might wanna check with their local A.R.B (Air Resources Board) to figure out what the law is around thier area.
