I emailed comp cams and asked them what the best street cam for my car is and they wrote "You could use our part number 76-801-9 cam. It has 255/262 advertised duration and 200/206 at .050. The lift of the cam is 517/498 and it has a 112 lobe separation" is this sound like a good cam? I have 1999 Camaro M5, RKSport Whisper Lid, Dynomax muffler, Jet Stage 2 module, RKSport headers comming soon. Thanks a lot guys!

weak, but shouldnt cause problems. Go do cam research instead of writing "What would be a good cam for me?"
If you're not willing to go learn, you don't deserve a cam... If you have problems with it, you wouldn't know where to start.2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

WHAT! More than 255/262!!
No one has even come close to suggesting a cam with that much duration.Robert - owner www.FirebirdV6.com/CamaroV6.com

Will that cam give me good low end TQ, I Want a cam that gives me good low end TQ, a choppy idle, good HP results, no commputer reprogramming, and no headwork, I am willing to do new valve springs, lifters, valve seats, etc. Just no head milling or anything of that nature. ThanksBlack 99 M5 Camaro \"6BANGER\"<p>Sport Appearance Package, Whisper Lid, SLP Cold Air Kit, K&N Filter,Dynomax Custom Cat-Back, BMR STB, Jet Stage II Module, Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch, Hurst Shifter with Custom Short Stick, RKSport 2\" Drop Springs, SS Hood, Poly Tranny Mount & TA Bushing, SLP 3.42 Gears with LSD, All Amsoil Synthetic Lubricants

This cam 206/212 112LS might raise the HP and TQ up in the RPM but it will still have more low end TQ then stock. It sounds like a decent cam.
