Can i take the oil pan off

I was able to pull the oil pan on my 3.8 without lifting the motor. But I had to pull the tranny out to slide the oil pan out from the back. The oil pickup was the trick part, on the 3.8 it's on the side of the block so you can drop the pan an inch to get a wrench in there and take it off. I'm not sure how similar the setup is on the 3.4 with the oil pickup. Anyone know with a 3.4?Michael Huff
92 RS, 98 V6, 97 SS, 00 Z28
http://www.carolinafbodyclub.com/

It looks like i am just going to pull the motor. I have it pretty much apart enough that it would be fairly easy to get out. I still have to unbolt the tranny and a couple other things but it is not too bad.Hot Cammed LT1 Sleeper
