    Want an LS1? I just found an add that sells a harness for 97-98 LS1 Engines that simply plug into a 98 ECU. So get an engine a harness and a 98 ecu if you have too, that should save soem time. check out painless performance products! Not that I want to swap though..

      Yeah, so the costs are narrowed down do the engine, the harness and the 98 CPU. I still would never do it, but i thought the info would help some of you guys.

            So there we go, anyone who wants to do an engine swap, just do a search, and read this, and stop clogging the board with requests on how to swap engines.... Most of us are here to improve the engine we have, not replace it.

              Try going to www.sdpc2000.com they have both the LS1 and LS6 for a fairly low price brand new and it includes the wiring harness and computer.
