Ok, im just curious bout this but is the 3.4L in the 93-95 camaros the same as the 3.4L used in third gen camaros? what parts are interchangable? i know that the cams can be interchanged as long as there is a cam trigger on it, but what else is interchangable? thanks for the help...

Intake manifolds are basically interchangable. The heads are the same too. The internals are the same except for the pistons (simply because of the bore). The 85-92 60* V6s use a distributor where we use a DIS system.

We had to put the 3.4 in our third gens. But there is all most no difference in swaping in a 2.8 or 3.4 long block into a third gen.

make an offer, I'd like to sell it complete, but I haven't had any offers, so I may have to part it out. I hate to, cause there's nothing wrong with it other than high mileage. I just wanted to do the LT1 swap. So, it's complete, still bolted to k-member with brakes, susp, everything...

well all id be interested in would be the motor, seeing as i have an entire whole car back home with all the parts that i need. what kind of miles you have on it? burn any oil? i really dont even need the accessories either. by chance you wouldnt have done a compression test or anything would ya?

the heads are the exact same on a 3.4 and 3.1? i thought that there was some difference, like in combustion chamber size.

No, I didn't. It was running fine when I dropped it out. Still got about 30mpg on the hwy, which is why it has 180,000 on it. It used NO oil between changes. If you looked at my sons' site, you saw a picture of the maroon car it came out of. We take care of our cars, and like I said..it had no problems.
