Ok the connectors connect, they fit in the fuel rail, im a tad worried about how far they are in the intake, they are in but it looks like they arent in to far will this be ok? They are in up over teh o ring but not by much the grey lip on the injector is a little above the rail but the injector is down in just up over the o ring, is this far enough? sorry didnt know where to post this

Just curious why you put ls1 fuel injectors in your car? Are you running n20 or a supercharger?1997 Supercharged Firebird
14.01@99.7mph 2.1 60ft.

Do they have clips? If so, if the clip area matches the part on the rail, you should be ok.
I lost one of my clips when I put the accels in. The injector had some travel up and down, with the rail in place. So I centered it in the travel. And that's right about where the clip areas lined up too.\'98 A4 Camaro v6->v8 conversion, and STS kit next
v6: 13.6 Powerdyne, 13.2 150 shot, 13.8 120 shot, 14.3 85 shot, 15.7 stock
v8(na): 12.18@113, 392rwhp
Moderator on www.mtfba.org and www.frrax.com (Road Race & Autocross)
Car pics, TN Region SCCA

John I would get that clip on there asap. That clip holds the injector in place, without it high pressure could push the injector out of the fuel rail and cause a fire. :eek:Keith - Chicago
HP Tuners - PCM Reprogramming
97 Firebird V6 to LS1 swap
V8 9.967@132.78 1.322 60\' NA Heads/Cam
V8 10.295@128.48 1.363 60\' NA Cam Only
V8 10.987@119.31 1.422 60\' NA Stock Internals
V6 13.674@98.22 NA
V6 12.394@104.91 N20 100HP

hmmm, I take it that would be a bad thing...
Seriously though, thanks for the advice. I actually had kind of forgotten about it. I think the seals tighten up over time, and seat pretty firmly. But it's still a risk. Plus at some point there will be boost rather than vacuum in the intake, increasing the chance of it coming out...\'98 A4 Camaro v6->v8 conversion, and STS kit next
v6: 13.6 Powerdyne, 13.2 150 shot, 13.8 120 shot, 14.3 85 shot, 15.7 stock
v8(na): 12.18@113, 392rwhp
Moderator on www.mtfba.org and www.frrax.com (Road Race & Autocross)
Car pics, TN Region SCCA

Right now i dont have a digi cam but i will try and get one soon, i have the bigger injectors because of all my mods including the powerpack with comp cam and this july the direct port gets installed, or my other plan either way, they will work better than stock with the powerpack.Longtubes, true duals, ram air, caspers tps tec, ls1 26lb injectors, supersix powerpack, heads milled .020, comp cam .507 220/224 114 ls, forged internals and chromeoly pushrods, bored .030 over, tb spacer, tranny built with stiffer springs and kevlar bands, bigger servo, transgo stage 3 shift kit, edge 3600 stall, 1 pc aluminum ds, 3.73 superior gears, lsd rear ,custom pcm tuning, walbro 255 in tank,
