    Ahh, LT1's are boring tho. They respond very poor to modification. They run 13s pretty much no matter what you do to them, and for a complete LT1 setup in a V6 car would cost over $2000 when finished (remember suspension parts need changing too). Or get a 3.8 for $500 and a NOS kit for $500, and for $1000 cheaper, you still have a low 13sec car.

          I wouldn't call the lt1's exactly boring. They have a lot more potential then our engines, as of right now anyways. When you add up the bill to get a v6 especially a 3.4 up to the performance level of lt1, the swap doesn't look all that bad, because then you would have a 13 second car all the time not just on the bottle. No trying to offend anyone, or start a flame war. But by the time you spend the money to swap the 3.8 and mod it up, you'd probably be better of getting the lt1.
