Autotap is more user-friendly than OBDII but they both do about the same thing.

You may want to do a search, there is a lot of good info out there. I know that this has been discussed before.

yup, it has been discussed plenty, please search on it.

I have obd-2, and i generally take the logs from it and put it into an access database & do all my work from there.

since I really only use it to log, I didn't need all the nifty atap functions. Plus its 200 bucks less.

ATAP may scan more things, and I dunno about their relative accuracy. I know I have some questions about obd-2.

Sorry, RED RUM, I sold the OBD II to strobhen. I do have some screen shots of the program if you want to compare them to the ones on the AutoTap website.

strobhen, did you get my email?

It would be nice if we could compare autotap and obd2 side by side on a car. I'd like to see if all those nifty features in autotap are really worth the extra money.
