Ok, i got my pcm reprogramed from an auto to a manual. now, its in the car, and all leads and what not are all good. Its getting an error that the microprocessor is malfunctioning. I dont have the error code on hand, i left it at the shop. someone said this could be because of the VATS, vhecial anti-theift system, and it needs to re-learn it. What happens is that the cam cranks, but wont fire, the fuel pump is pumping, and when i spray gas into the intake, it fires till the gas is burned up. We narrowed it down to the injectors not pulsing. The guy who did the reporgraming gave me a procedure to do so that the car would re-learn the VAT, but it didnt work, so im gonna call the dealership tommrow and see what the procedure is for the camaro. Any ideas on wether he fried the PCM (the microprocessor error) or could that be a VAT error thats goin off? Thanks in advance.

Wow, GREAT problem searching....
This is MUCH easier to work with than "My car doesn't start, HELP!".... Very cool.
Ok, you have no fuel, injectors are not pulsing...
Check out this page:

Should be bank 1 pin 70
DK BLU 229 Theft Deterrent Fuel Enable
Double check this lead. Tonight, I'll look at my wiring diagrams and see how this signal works.. If it is in fact this signal wire that is not getting the correct signal, maybe you can trick it for the time being.
Did you flash the PCM with the same year manual code?
Perhaps the flash didn't go through.Keith - Chicago<br /><a href=\"http://www.hptuners.com\" target=\"_blank\">HP Tuners - PCM Reprogramming</a><br /><a href=\"http://www.dxsoftware.com/magnus/\" target=\"_blank\">97 Firebird V6 to LS1 swap</a><br /><b>V8 9.967@132.78</b> 1.322 60\' NA Heads/Cam<br /><b>V8 10.295@128.48</b> 1.363 60\' NA Cam Only<br /><b>V8 10.987@119.31</b> 1.422 60\' NA Stock Internals<br /><b>V6 13.674@98.22</b> NA<br /><b>V6 12.394@104.91</b> N20 100HP

wow, and you are the man with answers, thanks a lot bro, i hope this does it for me.
EDIT: yes, i "had" it flashed to the same year just a manual, however i gave this to someone to do, so tehre is no REAL way of checking it. I mean i know a friend with a 2000 manual 6, but i dont wanna stick it in his car, you know how that goes. Although, i guess that would solve a lot of probs, lol

I had a similiar experience in my 89 camaro. And it was that the injectors werent spraying any fuel. But not because the injectors were bad. It was the computer that was malfunctioning. I took it to a dealer and a month later they fixed it.

that wire just goes to the BCM (Body Control Module).. not sure how the circuit works though..
I'd try to get the PCM reflashed.Keith - Chicago<br /><a href=\"http://www.hptuners.com\" target=\"_blank\">HP Tuners - PCM Reprogramming</a><br /><a href=\"http://www.dxsoftware.com/magnus/\" target=\"_blank\">97 Firebird V6 to LS1 swap</a><br /><b>V8 9.967@132.78</b> 1.322 60\' NA Heads/Cam<br /><b>V8 10.295@128.48</b> 1.363 60\' NA Cam Only<br /><b>V8 10.987@119.31</b> 1.422 60\' NA Stock Internals<br /><b>V6 13.674@98.22</b> NA<br /><b>V6 12.394@104.91</b> N20 100HP
