  • Rebuilding the Valvetrain, Need Advice

THe car has logged 95000 miles and I was looking into rebuilding the valvetrain. I figured there would be little to no need to screw with pistons, connecting rods, crankshaft, etc if I'm not going to supercharge it or anything. Here's the parts I'm thinking about, need advice and and help on whether or not it would be stronger with this setup than stock and any difference it might make:

    Comp Cams Valvespring Kit (ammperformance.com)
Comp Cams Steel Valvespring Retainers (aamperf..)
    GM Replacement Valve Locks (gmpartsdirect.com)
Comp Cams High Energy Lifters (ammperf..)
    Manley 4130 Chromemoly Pushrods (ammperf..)
    GM Replacement Roller Rockers (gmpartsdirect.com)

I couldn't find any Roller Rockers for under $300 so I decided that I might as well just put stock replacement ones on. Anyways, would this restore the engine quite well to what it used to be around 20000 miles (aside from pistons, etc)

Thanks for looking and any advice!
