Hey guys I have a 1997 Camaro Rs 3.8L Turbo Charged it has the Force Fed Fabrications kit I have put full exhaust on it so far plus new valve seals heavy duty ones.. Now The big thing ive done all the little stuff but i need to know what to do next??? and whats the best brand to put into them??? Like I want to do Heads, Cam, Pistons, and anything else that i need to do... im looking for some suggestions... I dont want to make any mistakes with this car have drag races coming up... and i need to make some hp... the har was dynoed at 345rwhp at 7psi... so let me know where to get the stuff i need to do next??? like tranny and rear end to??? like what rear end should I use etc... someone help haha
Thanks Guys
Dan
I can look up 5 speed trans later but I think you have enough on your plate already. What suspension upgrades do you have to put that stuff to the ground?
Also do you have a cardomain site with some pics and such?
read the stickies in the FI area they will help you out alot
345RWHP is not bad !!!
HP Tuners
65# hour injecotrs
and Wide Band O2 sensor
then do some tuning or have it tuned
this would let you crank the boost a good amount
The tranny will not hold. 3rd gear is weak, infact i'm surpised you have not broke it already. G-force sells upgrades for the T-5, Linxs is the only one to go this route so far, awating his results and R&D to see how long the biult tranny lasts
Me and a few others have swap to Auto's and had them biult up to hold the power auto car are also faster in the 1/4 mile ;) anyway......
you also may want to think about upgrading the turbo, that one is going to top out around 415 RWHP i think
Just all stock suspension what do you guys recommend for that???? and what turbo do you recommend getting??? can you get it off ebay or anything probably could get it reasonably cheap... but what suspension? and I dont really understand how to use the hp tuners.... anyways thanks for helping me guys and 345rwhp is not enough for me lol I want to make a v6 that has like 500 at least...
Thanks

Hey viper well what suspension you have spent alot of money on your car our you happy with all of your parts I want to build a motor similar to yours do you have any sound clips of your car?? but i want to run like 20psi... and what suspension, turbo, pistons and etc do you recommend...
Thanks dude
Dan
I guess it depends on how much money you have left over will determine what you should do next. I would say LCA's and torque arm for better launches. rod-ended lca's and a torque arm that moves the conection from the transmission to the body. You don't want to break the tailshaft from a hard launch. Heads will help a lot, especially on a turbo car. You will end up making less boost overall, but will make more power due to higher flow. If it's confusing, here's how that works. it's like blowing air through a straw, try to blow air through a coffee straw, and you have a lot of pressure, but only a little air can go through, try a bigger straw, less pressure but more air can go through. The heads are like the straws and the turbo is you. stock heads are the coffee straw, P&P'd heads are like the regular straw.
