Yea I thought about that too and came to the concusion that it will work with the stock p-rods. It is just a little more valve travel after ward. about the same as the amount taken off of the head. So it would be like if I shaved .030 off my head then I would have .030 in extra valve travel. Acording to my engine builder who builds my race cars engines. He said anytime that clearances and tolerances are messed with that it is good advice to redo the whole motor to check everything. I trust his opion when it comes to making horsepower. He has more years than I have lived doing it, so I am going to listen instead of suggest. He is the one that told me to find out about how much can be done to these engines before they started.
