I was wondering if anyone had advice on a torque converter that would be good to go along with this cam?

You know that that camshaft is for the 231 v6's that were in the 70's camaros, firebirds, etc. It won't work on teh series 2 motor is what I am getting at. But since your asking about a torque converter then I would suggest talking to TCI's technical advisors. Just call them or summitracing. They can help on that.

Oh shizznit. I didn't look it over that good. I take full apology for that. I was wrong that is the stage 3 cam for our motor. I was think of a different camshaft for a different 231 motor. But anyway that cam is designed for a boosted application. So a good torque conveter around 2500-3500 would be good. I am going to a 3000 stall veter just for teh heck of it. Sory about that earlyier.

No worries, I just thought I'd ask because those are two mods that are really good to be done at the same time.

Yea I've been thinking about doing a comp cams custom grind cam from ftpp.net. Its the last one on their page for the 3.8 motor. Specs out at like .533 lift with 1.6 rockers. So that plus pcm and a 3000 stall veter is what I am going for right now. then later on say somethin like abott racing heads, stroker kit and all. I can only dream then persue.
