if i changed out, cam/rockers/c,a,i/cat back, would it be a noticable differnce in power or will it be minute??

I had previously had intake/exhaust (catback only) done. Then I got a tune, installed a cam/supporting mods (springs, retainers, pushrods), headers, and a rear end... the gain was amazing! So much different. The car's hardly the same!

Do all that and also remove your egr valve, i swear with mine off and gone, i notice my car wants to go. Hey I also deleted mine and it was a great difference from 80 up. All gains in my car are noticable since I have 3:08 gears. The car would challenge itself to get to 100. After teh egr delete I have to slow down to keep from going 85 on average. I'm serious the car pulls better through out the power band. Big difference on my car.

removing the EGR doesn't make your car pull any harder than before. You don't gain anything from the EGR removal except for a cleaner intake and exhaust. Track times have shown no improvements in times. You lose on average 1mpg and that is the only downside. Only other reason to delete it is if you have headers and the egr is leaking where it connects to the header.

Well then my valve must have been bad because All I know is that the car wouldn't run worth a crap before I deleted it. After wards well you can say she woke up and took off. I guess that my vavle was bad letting in a costant flow of exhuast or whatever. But I am telling the truth she pulls harder all the way to redline in 3rd gear, so it might not prove anything except that with your info that my egr valve was bad. Anywho ohwell. I like it better with it off tho, never did like the sound of hot exhaust going back into your motor. LOL

well, speaking only on the way my car has been driving....all i can say is i removed mine about 2 months ago, ive been about 600 miles since then. My car has always ran perfect, with the egr valve gone, i swear, my car produces more power with less gas peddle. Im not a racer and i drive my car easy most of the time. My gas milage has not changed at all, i get between 26 and 27 mpg hwy, and thats with my car lifted 1.5 inchs above stock ride hight. I have no knocking at all, and its 90 degrees here in houston texas already. I would recommend anyone wanted to do this egr delete to do it the way i did it. First order the block off plates, when you order them one comes threaded the other one not threaded, i had to drill the threaded one out so i recommend ordering both of them NOT threaded. Install them and see how you car runs, leave the egr valve plugged in! if you car likes it, order the egr delete wire harness and remove the valave all together. Wondering what your car will look like with the egr valve gone? i just took pics and posted them on my site. I used quick connects to connect the egr delete so if need be i could always go back with the egr valve very easly. back to the topic of this thread. You have to be exretely careful when trying a combination of a cam plus rocker arms. The purpose of getting rockers is to increase the lift, which in turn is also a portion of the cam objective. When you combine the rockers with the cam the lift becomes to much for the springs and it becomes competely inefficient.
If you really wanna do a cam plus rockers then your going to have to choose a cam that when the lift is multiplied by the rocker arms ratio it doesnt exceed much more than .530 and that is even pushing it.SLP CAI, RK Sport headers, P&Ped heads and intake, GT2 cam, Upgraded valvetrain, Z28 rear axle with 4.10s Tx Spd tune, Z06 rims, 2.5\" exhaust to flowmaster, 160* thermo, B&M ripper, upgraded ignition, rockford fosgate 12\" with sony xplode amp and HU.
