Are the EGR block-offs just flat pieces of metal? I could probably have my dad make a set for me... Is it really a noticeable difference? And is there a code that comes up with it gone?
yes, they are just flat pieces of metal. and yes, if your unplug the valve a code will come up, unless the buy the egr delete wire harness from zzp. But like i said i would recommend you not remove the valve at first and just block off both ends with the pieces of metal, leave the valve plugged in and see how your car runs, then if you like remove the valve all together and order the delete thingy. you will need high temp silicone to put on the block of plate to make a good seal.
