it was the random misfire code. i raplaced one of the coils that has cylinder two on it but it still misfires. it doesnt do it as bad now. ithink im just goin to replace all of them with and see how it goes. i dumped more injector cleaner in but it didnt seem to help out so greatly.
Well, I changed all 3 coil backs today, and the misfire is GONE... :D I looked at the coil packs, and the primary circuit connectors where pretty rough looking, also the front 2 was bent like, so I'm sure water got up in them. Then new ones where sealed in places the OE ones wasn't. So, hopefully these should last for a while. :) Thanks for all the info and help. :P
Yea man go buy some MSD blaster coils if you have the money. Dont put stock ones back on. My car is also throwing the P0133 code for the 02 censor. It started throwing it shortly after my buddy and I put on my headers. I shortly after put new censors on and it cured it for a while then it came on again so Im jsut leaving it on til next week after my cam install and have it tuned out. If you have headers and its throwing it then its becuase the headers flow to fast for the 02's to keep up. Its no big deal besides the engine light being in your face.
Ya know, I replaced my wires and coils with MSD Blaster coils and MSD wires. I didn't notice a lick of difference, although I might just not be noticing it. Does anyone know the real difference, if any, that the MSD parts offer over stock?
well, it wouldnt really give a noticeable difference, just putting bigger wires and coils on won't do anything if theres not more power going to them, so unless you upgrade ur ignition system, i dont really think there would be anything to notice
The random missfire code came up on my car when my cat was cloged. At first it would just flash the ses light then it finaly threw the random missfire code .
The car never threw a code for a bad cat.
