valve spring pressure

Hey guys what pound pressure of valve springs should I use. I ordered 90lb comp springs from ZZP with the rest of my valve train parts. A guy at ZZP siad 130lbs of pressure would be over kill and that 90lbs woud be better to bo with. Is that accurate or not. Thanx for the help guys.

I have 105s in mine..

Yea I was considering 105s. What cam are you using and what power gian did u get from it. Im gonna be using the Comp GT cam.

Yep, I went with CompCam's GT2 camshaft.

I don't know the power gain I got, but at the same time I got 105s, oil-restricted pushrods (from ZZP), modified steel retainers (also from ZZP), ceramic-coated Pacesetter headers/y-pipe, a texas speed tune, 3.73s, and a LSD.

Then, 200 miles later, I coincidentally spun a rod.. but that's not because of the install of this other stuff. So I only drove my car with the mods for 200 miles before I couldn't drive it again. It'll be running again in about 10 days though! lol It's been like 3 weeks already.

I thought with the G2 cam ud need a Toque converor installed cuz its reccommended or whatever. If its not needed then I may exchange the GT for the G2 cam.

Recommended, but not required. I have everything else recommended on their list except the torque converter.

Yea thats what I was thinking. Im gonna call them and see if I cna exchange the GT for the G2 cam if there wont be a restocking fee.
