how much does it cost to install new cams

I'm thinking on buying Comp Cams GT2 Cam. How much is the installation of new cams for our cars.

I heard around 1,000 at a shop that chrages 75.00 an hour. Most shops dont do internals and the ones that do will ask for your first born. Find local mechanics that will work on the side i read on another fourm some guy told another guy in i think PA he will do one for 300.00. I found a mechanic FINALLY and he is gonna be my new best freind =) told me he would take off and put on my heads for 150.00, now to get some from abbott hm....

Depends a lot on the shop and the quality of work, do your research that isn't something you want messed up.

It will run you anywhere from $300 up to over $1000 maybe, I've see the average to be between 500 and 600 from well known 3800 specialty shops like Intense-Racing.
