        Re: cam sensor

it's easy enough. just go rent a harmonic bal. remover, remove your belt, put a screw driver up into your flywheel, and losen the bolt onthe crank, then the remover looks like a ducks foot, you will bolt that onto your pully, and take the pully off. then there is a plastic shield, take that off, and the sensor is right there and it's like 2 bolt. and then put it all back together. its about an hour job at most. oh make sure when your putting your pully back on your going to wack the he!l out of it so put a piece of wood in front of the pully, and smack that sucker on.

That's the CKP sensor, not the cam sensor. Cam sensor is much easier to change.

It depends on which engine but if it's the 3.8 and you're standing in front of the motor, looking at it; the camshaft position sensor is just above and to the left of the crankshaft pulley.

You should be able to change the sensor farily easily after you remove the drivebelt and perhaps the belt tensioner assy, too.

You don't need to remove the tensioner or even the belt. It's just 1 bolt holding it on, and it's easy to get to.
