  • LS2 swap question

Has anyone tried this before? I tried a search but it didn't go past the switch to the new website setup.
Anyway this would be the same as a LS1 swap with a few relocated sensors like the camshaft position then intake and exhaust manfolds changed and the oil pan and the electronic throttle. Anything else ?

        Re: LS2 swap question

You can put the LS6 (or LS1) intake on the LS2 block/heads, and a normal cable operated TB on the intake. Other than the cam sensor and the knock sensors, everything is the same as an LS1 swap.

The solution for the cam sensor is to extend the wires.

The solution for the knock sensors is to screw them into the sides of the block instead of in the valley. Using existing holes, and LS1 sensors (for compatibility with the LS1 pcm). And extend the wires.
