how much is this all costing you so far? ive always thought about swapping my car but never really sought after pricing everything out.

i think youre going to need to replace the gask tank, fuel pump, and fuel lines? (not positive on the last one.) i know theres something involved with the fuel rails and the fuel pump that you can use vette rails with less work...or something. sorry i cant remember.

youre going to need the v8 steering rack. its shaped differently to make room for the oil pan.

          K-member and trans cross-member.
          Radiator, rad hoses, heater hoses.

The v8 rail has a feed line, no return line. The v8 tank has the regulator back on the tank. You can convert to the v8 tank and lines. Or you can run a 97 vette rail (and fpr) and keep all your lines and tank.

Yep the rack angles more to the back and to the driver's side. To clear the alternator and the #1 exhaust.

If you have a 3.4, then your chassis harness and dash harness will need some repinning to match up to the LS1 harness. Possibly swap the dash harness and chassis harness entirely.

          And a gauge cluster. 98 cluster for a 98 pcm, any 99+ cluster for a 99+ pcm.

Re: what else would i need

Doing a swap in the 3.4 is very similiar to what I went through with mine.

We both share a lot of the "lt1 style" harnesses.

              Check out my website:
http://www.dxsoftware.com/magnus and click V8 swap on the left, lots of info.

The hardest part will be the custom fueling and custom wiring harness.

Really its not THAT difficult. Once you see things in your hands it all becomes a lot more clear..

Everything else is cake. LS1 k-member bolts right in. ls1 radiator, ls1 exhaust, etc...

As long as emissions components are not a huge deal (like air pump, egr, evap), etc. etc.. its really not that bad of a swap.
