Pushrod Length question?

I need to know what pushrod size I should be going with. I have Abbott Stage 3 heads and went with a .065 Cometic MLS head gasket. I was told 7”, but how can that be when the heads are ported and that gasket is a little thicker than stock. Any help?

did you go with a straight 7" or was it like 7.05" or something like that which is the stock length?

went with 7 not 7.05, just got the car started and I hear a rocker knocking!!!!! AHHHH!
