that thing it's rubbing against is a useless piece of plastic, i cut it off when i put mine on. if you flip on ur switch, you should hear a little whirring noise if the engine isnt running so if it isnt, then your wiring is probably bad. open up all your bleeder valves (i think there's only 1 or 2) and let it run with the engine on and keep the reservoir at the full level on the dipstick. it'll take a bit for the air to get all out but it will. if it gets to the redline, kill the motor and let it cool and keep trying. did the same thing fer me too. oh... after you cut that thing off, your belt will vibrate a little b/w the crank pulley and the tensioner. that corrects itself in time (with a little burning rubber smell fer a bit)

alright, I got some pics from another member today, car sat all day as I was busy, I have off tomorrow and also am armed with a longer belt, if this doesnt work, i am taking the dremmel to that piece.
SO i routed it to the battery and now the only noise that I hear is my 12 V source clicking a little bit when I touch the wires to the battery, pump never actually turns on.
sorry, wiring diagram sent with kit was incorrect. a quick call to the company explained the correct wiring and it was running in a matter of minutes. However, I was extremely worried I had fried the pump, whew!
hey, glad it all worked out man. Hopefully those pictures helped?. i still think the easiest/best bet would be to run a relay through your ignition..
All in all.. good to hear

yea thanks for the pics. I like the pump a lot, I do notice a SLIM little bit more at about 5000 rpms, not to mention the cool down with just the accesesories on is impressive, car is ambient in like 2-3 minutes, great buy.
