4 gear sucks

well i know that 3.4 camaros are not at all fast. but is there any way to make the 4 gear a little more usefull i was raceing a mustang the other day and i had him the entire time. but that is when i noticed how worthless 4th gear is. it seemed like it just did not want to accelerate any more. if i put the z28 with the 3.42 rear would that inprove it at all???

changing your rear gears isnt gonna change your transmission gear ratios. You will accelerate faster through gears untill about 4th...4th gear is more of an overdrive

If you're racing fast enough to be in 4th gear you're probably at a dangerous speed- that said, the only way besides changing the ratio of 4th gear in the transmission is to add horsepower, that'll help it on top end. This probably should not be in advanced tech though.

4th gear is more of a over drive??? in a 5 speed manual

when you said 4th gear i automatically assumed you had a A4...hence the 4th gear being the last and final gear
