yes its "blinking irradicly" indicating there is a problem. so i only need those 12volt and trigger wires? my bad the black ones are on the outside and the white ones are on the inside. but do i not need to hook up the coil positive and coil negative wires?<-the two black ones.
I just bought a DIS4 box, now I am already regreting the install. oh yea and it didnt come with a manual seeing as I bought it from a friend who had it sitting around.
Nothing just tape the ends. Mine are just hanging their. Aslo my interface wires are white on the outside and black on the inside. Hmm.. you got pic of how your interfaces look like??
so its just that my wires arent making a good connection? i havent solderd them or anything but my dad is going to today though, my connection came loose on ch 1 and i had use electrical tape to put it back.....thats what caused my #6 cylinder misfire prolly.
do you have the regular DIS 4 or the DIS 4 PLUS? I have the PLUS and got the instructions for the regular. the wires were a diffrent color, but they were still close to the orgional colors so I figured it out easy enough. here is the diagram 95bat made for the 3.4l. maybe it will help. its for the regular DIS 4.
On the first link, I noticed interface 3 which is 2/5 the + and - are switched around is that right??? Mine was a 3.8 and that diagram didnt work with me. Maybe the 3.4 is diffrent.
yeah I know on the 3.4 its wired backwards because GM wired the prongs diffrent. not sure if its like that on the 3.8. best way to tell is to get a voltmeter and see which prong is "hot"

check your wires. did you replace the wires when you put the coil packs back on? a wire could have been week and broke when you pulled it off the coil. are you 100% sure the wires are on the correct coil? after that, make sure the plugs are actually getting spark. I think you can take each plug out and put the wire on and see if it sparks. if they all have spark then maybe a coil adapter is on the wrong coil.
