    Can anybody tell me if i have to change my ecu and everything if i swap my 3.4L for a 3.8L?

    TO swap a 3.8 you will need a complete 3.8, wiring harness, pcm, and K-member.

    What year 3.4 do you have there is a possibility if you have a 93 you'll need a transmission as well!

      why do you want to swap from a 3.4 to 3.8?

          what tranny does a 3.4 have? 4l60E and it will work on a 3.8?
          2k2 camaro, K&N, SLP whisper lid, Konis, AEM, HP Tuners, Angel eyes/Halos, CF SS ram air hood, 4.10s, Zexel Torsen, UMI SFCs, CrossFire, BFGs, Gatorback, Catco, Flows, and TLC! DONT feed the Trolls!

            If you are going to do all that work for another v6 engine swap and only 40 more hp, go with the v8 swap. Just like on the v6 swap you will have to have the k-member, wiring harness, computer, etc.

              you forgot tranny
              3.8 is cheaper than an ls1
              2k2 camaro, K&N, SLP whisper lid, Konis, AEM, HP Tuners, Angel eyes/Halos, CF SS ram air hood, 4.10s, Zexel Torsen, UMI SFCs, CrossFire, BFGs, Gatorback, Catco, Flows, and TLC! DONT feed the Trolls!

                Oh yeah. Tranny too. Opps (also fuel rail, radiator , fans, etc)

                However, for the price, doing all that extra work for 145 (plus or minus) more STOCK hp is better that 40 hp. I mean, if you are going to go thru the trouble of pulling and replacing engines, k-members, wiring harnesses, computers anyway, go ahead and do the extra work for a tranny and radiator replacement.

                The v8 swap will be extra money than a v6 to v6 swap. But the rewards!!!!!!wow!!!! And then we are only talking about stock hp. Once you get the v8 you can get regular ole bolt ons
