  • intake manifold question

I was wondering, has any research been done into improving the intake manifold on the 3800 engine? I'm trying to squeeze every drop of bottom end HP out of my engine without having to do anything really invasive to my engine.I already have alot of bolt ons and I know the surest way to make easy HP is to bolt on a new manifold but I've not seen any for the RWD only the FWD engines. Any help would be great.
My bolt ons: Whisper lid airbox,SLP cold air intake kit,Cat back exhaust,MSD DIS ignition box and coils, hypertech tuner
    Thanks,Arnie

There are no aftermarket options but you can get a ported upper and lower intake manifold from abbott for like 300 bucks.

      Re: intake manifold question

the stock manifolds are already very good. If you port it it will only flow slower but more CFM. The best option would be to make runners by cutting it open and doing some massive epoxy work like lance at abbott did.
