Started with this. Throttle body was too long to fit in engine bay so I cut off the front and used a dremel to make a "lip". This is a 2002 3.8 that I converted to manual throttle body by installing a 97 upper plenum and TB. It's going into a rockcrawler project. I'm setting up a non-oem efi controller which doesn't use a MAF, so I got a shorter, better flowing TB in one shot. If you have any advice on doing nice epoxy work let me know.

The outer edge was too thin so I added a piece of aluminum tubing, now I'm trying to blend them together.

I got the tubing from www.onlinemetals.com. It is a 3.5" OD piece of aluminum tubing. They selll by the inch or foot so wanted to give them a plug since they seem like a cool company that comes in handy for little projects.
