im rebuilding the top half of my 97 3.8l camaro and wanted to know what rockers i should put in and/or what cam. what all do i have to change if i do put a new cam in. thanks

you will have to get new rocker arm bolts(gmpartsdirect.com is cheapest). You also might have to get a new timing chain. new water pump gasket. valve cover gaskets etc2k2 camaro, K&N, SLP whisper lid, Konis, AEM, HP Tuners, Angel eyes/Halos, CF SS ram air hood, 4.10s, Zexel Torsen, UMI SFCs, CrossFire, BFGs, Gatorback, Catco, Flows, and TLC! DONT feed the Trolls!

Rockers raise valve lifts and the actual amount of lift is going to depend on the cam there isn't a generic number for it.
