    Symptoms of a bad FPR?

    Okay here's the story. For the passed 3 months now i've had a misfire only under load.

    I've changed:
    Spark Plugs
    Plug wires
    Fuel pump.

    When i FIRST installed the fuel pump it ran freak'n nice. i actually was able to chirp the tires around.

    after about 15-20 min of driving the misfire came back.


    Im putting all new o2 sensors in today. and im also looking at getting a new MAF sensor.

    Beforei go spend mucho denero.. Would a fuel pressure regulator effect my driving *under load*??...

    Like i said. i can go up to redline but only if i baby the throttle.

    floor it.. and it nearly pings a rod through the block.

    is it missfire or are you running lean?
    Tahts the start.
    getting any ses codes?

      Put a test gauge on the schrader valve pull the vaccum line off the FPR and watch the fuel pressure that will tell you if it's bad.

      And yes it could cause you to run lean and possibly cause a misfire.

      Have you had the codes scanned? Or is it even throwing a code?

        there are still alot of things to check/replace if they are bad like:
        coils, icm, injectors...running lean? all can cause misfire
        2k2 camaro, K&N, SLP whisper lid, Konis, AEM, HP Tuners, Angel eyes/Halos, CF SS ram air hood, 4.10s, Zexel Torsen, UMI SFCs, CrossFire, BFGs, Gatorback, Catco, Flows, and TLC! DONT feed the Trolls!

          I went to autozone today and got it scanned. and wrote down the codes.

          P0102
          P0122
          P0146
          P0153
          P1133
          P1153

          and random multiple misfire.

              I know two of them are o2 sensor low voltage/slow response.

              One of them was MAF or VAF low voltage.

              and one was air fuel metering.

              Is there a way to Clean the MAF sensor just for a temp. fix?

                q-tip, rubbing alchol, and a very sensitive steady hand
                dont touch the sensor with your finger though
