harmonic balancer removal

taking it of to get to timing chain and gears to replace them wanted to know for sure which direction nut comes off clock or counter clock so i dont **** up anything thanks

COUNTER-clockwise!!!!
but its gonna take like 200 ft/lbs of torque on a 22" breaker bar
and something real strong to hold the crank from moving

Its not an impact wrench if it will only do 15ft/lbs.
I hope that an air ratchet you are talking about, if not, its trash.

Even the cheapest craftsman 1/2" impact puts down 350 ft/lbs.
What is that a 1/4" impact?

dam, thats awesome! I have a 120v wal-mart impact wrench and it only goes to like 180ft/lbs

Its not an impact wrench if it will only do 15ft/lbs.

yea, i shouldnt have said anything, cause those were air wrenches i was talking about. """"1/4" impact"""" lol didnt know they made those, I'd love to have one.
What air pressure are those craftsmans?
My air ratchet wrench goes to only 45ft/lbs at 90psi max

BTW, I said you are supposed to turn the bolt counter-clockwise (which is correct)
But, you are only supposed to rotate the crank CLOCKWISE!
I dont know why, maybe it'll eff up the tranny if you turn it clockwise
