  • On the way out

    Well its been gettin worse and worse as the year has gone but first i could smell oil burning...then i could c it on start up....now i have a ticking comin from my drivers side head and im thinkin its a lifter...so now i notice that i start the car and i just have blueish smoke comin out from my tips...so my question is could i replace my heads and make that prob go away or is it more that just heads that i need...cuz in the winter its comin off the road and id like to get a head start on what im lookin to get

    Usually smoke on start up is the valve seals.
    Oil in the exhaust can also be piston rings.
    Neither one would make your oil pressure low, or make lifters tick.

      Yep, doesn't sound like new heads are what you need to be lookin at. If it's gonna be garaged soon, and you were thinking new heads, I'd say just take it apart, and see what the problem is and go from there.
      Rebuilding the engine... Building a custom front end... T-top conversion... Custom rear hatch..
      Custom interior...
