I don't know if there should necessarily be a separate section for "bottom-end" but I definitely think a tools section would be an excellent idea. I think we'd have more do-it-yourselfers out there if more people felt more comfortable with the tools and equipment. and more do-it-yourselfers, the more modded f-bodies there will be... win/win

I know about rebuilding bottom ends.
I haven't had to do it on the 3.8, because I haven't blown it up yet, but I have done others.
I would say that the bolt stretch gauge may be a little overkill, but if you want to use it, have a blast!
New rod bolts with clean rods and proper lube will get you a pretty accurate torque on the bolt.
We have one and I've only used it once. I compared ARP's torque specs on a set of rod bolts to what they wanted the bolt to be stretched and the torque reading stretched the bolt EXACTLY what they said they wanted the bolt to stretch.
