Hi Guys,my question to you all out there using the 3.4L V6 in the Camaro.
Have any of you ever used the Comp Cam Kit CCA-K16-233-4?
If so how did it worked?
Did you use other parts with it to make it work?
What was the Performance gain like,was it very noticable when driving the car?
I live in Barbados and also a proud owner of a 1993 Camaro V6 3.4L with a Manual Transmission.I torn down my engine to the last bolt,it was doing 195000 on the clock,what force me to dismantle are 2 of the Freeze Plugs rotted,1 between the engine and Gearbox and the other at the side of the block.
The car worked reasonably well,for the mileage it have,I drag race a friend Suzuki Swift Gti that we install a Turbo Kit and I beat him at 8-10psi of boost,but when the boost cranked up at 14-18psi,my 1-2nd gear I had the lead but when I went 3rd he wheel spin passed me as though I was stop,so my plan is to go back for him when my car is finish.
Engine wise I want to install the Comp Cam Kit,1.6:1 Roller Rockers,have the Head matched ported and polish,a set of Headers,Dry NOS and thinking of using a chip as well.
