mines completely gone, it was leaking a little AFTER I removed it because my
self-fabricated plate on the back of my block was interfering with my rear main cover / plate
I cant tell a difference in vibration
would I recommend someone do it? If they want to

yup you can jsut remove the gear and leave it sit there if you don't want to take the motor out to tap it
