So running into some knock... I am runnin a tune that I ran in similar weather and I had no problems
But I am having issues... And a few times I didn't then soem I did. Hard to say intermittant, but it does work fine.
I pulled the timing back to about 1* over stock, which is nothing, I used to run 5* fine.
question is...
I am running a cutout on the stock catback... but the exhaust has been removed a few times and put back on. If I had a leak is there a chance that my knock may be coming from that? (vibration in exhaust) I do have a rattle in the rear, but that I believe might be suspension related, and shouldn't affect anything.
Also, running misfire detect, I have seen a few misfires, nothing that is noticeable, but is it possible misfires woudl lead to knock. I am leaning towards ignition system... the wires have like 30k on them, coils ave 66600 miles on them, and plugs have like 3-5k, they should be ok.
running autolites (605s I believe), one range cooler, recommended alot on the GP boards.
Any tips on what I should look at first?
