Re: forged?
C.O.M.E. racing in australia has one with their stroker kit.
But why would you need one? What kind of power are you pushing because I see plenty of guys pushing gobs of power on the stock crank without troubles

Re: forged?
i know that our cranks our strong but i dont know how much boost i want to run and i dont know how many RPM's i wanna run either, im sure that just sticking with the stocker will be fine. i was just checking to see if anyone knew of any that would old up to everything.:naughty:

Re: forged?
it's worthwhile if u gap ur plugs wider. Narrowing the spark plug gap makes it easier to light the air/fuel mix, but isn't as efficient of a combustion. the DIS-4 provides more energy so u can run stock gap plugs(not stock heat range) and still light the pressurized mixture. it also helps with the multiple sparks below 3000 rpm for fuel mileage on the highway.2001 Arctic White Firebird<br />More mods than I\'m allowed to list!

Re: forged?
yeah... so what your saying is... its going to cost money. which yes this is true. but... itll be cool. plus i dunno if im going to run 30 lbs. or higher. im prolly going to go up to 20 lbs AT MAX. maybe a few times with it being higher but, whatever.
im going to see if i can do it for a little less than 20 G's

Re: forged?
if you take short cuts you will blow it up.
im just saying so far the only people to take the boost that high on 3800's
are
A)GNX's
B)GTP's owned by ZZP, Intense,etc
and prolly soon to be someone from this board who has been running a turbo setup for a long while.
Im not saying it cant be done, im just saying these questions come about all the time and nothing happens....i have a feeling this will be the same. You will see what a hassle a project of that magnetude would be, not to mention pocket draining.
